Dr. Elise Davis-McFarland (she/her/hers) chaired CAJM’s education initiative, which advocated for the implementation of Restorative Practices (RP) in CCSD schools; she has worked with school officials to implement RP to reduce student suspensions and expulsions.
As a board-certified pediatric speech-language pathologist her work and research have emphasized the importance of culturally responsive assessment and intervention practices with children and families, and ethical program development and intervention practices in international spaces.
