Roslyn Vinson has used her education and training in Nursing and Social Work to create a rewarding “career marriage.” Ms. Vinson has over 25 years of experience in Health and Human Services, Mental Health Counseling, and Group work.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the Polytechnic Institute of New York, a Registered Nurse Degree/ License from Los Angeles City College, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree from the University of South Carolina.
Both career paths allowed Ms. Vinson to develop and utilize solid clinical case management skills in many areas involving Health and Human Services.
Ms. Vinson started her career as a Public Health Advisor for the CDC, followed by School Nurse and Health Educator for the Los Angeles Unified School District and Richland One and Charleston County Schools. Ms. Vinson also worked as a Medical Surgical Nurse, followed by extensive work in Psychiatry.
Her love and compassion for seeking the best in humanity would lead her to work as a clinician providing individual, family, and group counseling services. She has worked independently and for agencies such as Delta T Group, working with service persons returning from combat and the Domestic Abuse Center.
